MEHIA has plans up to 12 program events annually that are presented at MEHIA Breakfast Meetings or Workshops. These meetings are held monthly generally from October through June each year. Topics for these meetings are chosen from information that is forwarded to MEHIA or through ideas presented by Board members and the membership.
MEHIA is always recruiting new membership. MEHIA is confident that it can double its membership over the course of 2006/2007. When you become a MEHIA member, you will also be a member of the Alberta Health Industry Alliance, which is an alliance of members from northern and southern Alberta. The MEHIA Communications portfolio supports and promotes the activities of MEHIA through distribution of MEHIA membership information, and through the development of electronic communication systems, including an updated website. The MEHIA website provides members with a place to advertize their company, linkages to other health-industry organizations around the world, on-line information about up-coming events, and on-line event and membership registration.
