Tricia established her consulting practice in 1993. The mission of Chrysoros is "To assist inventors and start-up companies in the early stages of the commercialization process". Chrysoros provides "hands on" assistance based
on reality and assists inventors with company start-up, business planning, financing, marketing and licensing. Chrysoros focuses on the healthcare industry specifically on biotechnology, medical devices and software. Prior to
1993, Tricia worked at the Technology Transfer Office at the University of Alberta managing inventions in several technology areas: biotechnology, medicine, nursing, genetics, agriculture, engineering and rehabilitation
medicine. Her educational background includes a B.Sc. with Honours in Biochemistry and a MBA focused on strategic planning and marketing as well as courses in negotiation and international licensing.
Murray Ellis - Classic Health Supplies Ltd,
Murray is a the President of Classic Health Supplies Ltd, an Edmonton based home care, medical and nutraceutical supply company. His healthcare experience also includes the re-engineering the delivery of healthcare in an acute care facility. Murray's senior management experience includes establishment of a collaborative, consensus based, multi-stakeholder organization to identify and develop solutions on public policy issues. As a consultant, Murray actively assists emerging and existing companies in preparing their strategic and business plans and in raising their investment capital. Murray is past president of the Alberta Entrepreneurs Association and founding president of the Planning Forum.
Jim Rikley - Associated Health Systems
Jim is an owner and director of Associated Health Systems, which is a full line manufacturer/distributor of medical surgical supplies for hospitals. The company specializes in critical care supplies as well as materials handling
carts. Mr. Rikley is based in Edmonton but Associated Health Systems has offices in Vancouver as well as agents across Canada.
